It never got anywhere pass those ominous stairs in the last screenshot. I won't make anything out of it (or maybe take a few bits here and there, I dunno) since I don't have the files anymore. Goodbye to the numerous linedefs or the OTEX textures, this is a tribute map to one of my favorite megawads: Hell Revealed 2. I set myself three limits: - use of the stock textures except the sky - a maximum number of 2000 linedefs to emulate the very simple aesthetics - vanilla limit of course It's very fun to make this kind of map. If I could take a guess, extensive use of the curve linedef tool with just 1 vertex in the 'curve', with stair builder for the insets. How it fits in with the rest of the doom styled maps, remains to be seen. So it may stay where it is or become a secret level or get moved to be it's own thing.
