Soundblock Posted November 15, 2020 (edited) Redland Halls, Bristol (1994 or 1995). This is the space where I built most of the Master Levels & Cabal series. Had only finished one Doom map before moving in here & in particular remember making teeth.wad right there. Also where we (Acoma, me & many fellow students) had our first deathmatch games, over the LAN cable stretched out the window & up two floors. I had to file an application with student halls management in order to be allowed a second desk in my room, which is what the keyboard & monitor is sitting on. VERY cramped space! Also near swallowed a wasp that had crept into my window-sill can of coke (kept it cool), while I was mapping away on one of the maps. It was quite ferociously trying to sting when I spat it out... Gez Posted November 15, 2020 Two or three years ago I was getting a lot of same-species futile infight like this, between arachnotrons, mancubi, even cyberdemons! I think there was a bug in GZDoom's damage code back then. Haven't seen another in a long while so I suppose whatever bug was present got fixed.
