What makes you think of space when seeing some mountains with the moon in the sky above? Rainne Posted February 10, 2020 Me: I know, I'll make the opening area of my mapset start in a secluded overgrown green planty area kinda like Hymn E1M4, because it's prettyful and I like organically-shaped outdoorsy areas and there's other room for such a place in the mapset I want to make and the premise does call for starting unceremoniously in some random area anyway and why not! Hexen: What is "green"? I've been working on this one little area for like a week and hoping I'll get far enough along that the other ideas I have can start connecting to it and I'll suddenly have like 3 maps done in an explosion of activity. Skylining is such a pain though. 😖 At least sprites that clip through the sky ceiling still show up correctly, in vanilla, Chocolate, and GZDoom hardware mode alike. The gothicDM wads were definitely my main inspiration for this map, so you're right about the late 90's early 2000's flair. I'm pretty proud of how this turned out, since I made this in like 6 hours.
