Some Doom community members played Minecraft in 2019. Here are the results.

A group of us decided to start a vanilla survival multiplayer Minecraft server (as of late, running with some light quality-of-life mods installed), initially running on Edward's hardware and now hosted on Meloncube. Unfortunately most of the players have now lost interest and the server is dying out. Figured I'd post pictures of our results so far. If anybody is particularly interested in joining, contact me by privmsg - joining is by invitation only and the server is whitelisted. Griefing and unsolicited PvP are outlawed.

 

Note: the pics were taken with a winter season local resource pack, which is just part of my local client config currently.

Nice, I'd join but I've got no time lately.

 

When I used to play with my friends, our holy grail of mods were FeedtheBeast, Thermal Expansion, NEI (recipe search quality of life), and Minefactory Reloaded. These sortof turn the game into Industrial-Manufacturing-and-Power-Distribution-Craft ;-)

I mean, not being on the server isn't bannable or something. We still have all the people who have played at some point on the whitelist, they just don't want to play any more currently due to being busy, burned out, or whatever other reason.
