GZDOOM crash

I tried to load up gzdoom one day and it just started crashing and would not stop. I have tried everything, but nothing will work.

Did you try updating to the latest version? You're still running an older version from the crash dump.

The crash occurs in the graphics driver, it's hard to say what may cause it. As a first thing I'd suggest to try the Vulkan renderer, which can be enabled in the startup popup, to see if that works.

You haven't upgraded to the latest version I see. The backend options were added in the startup window in 4.3.1.

 

In 4.2.4 you have to go under Display Options - Vulkan Options (Experimental) and turn it on.

That's weird, a day ago it said the latest version was 4.2.4, but now it is 4.3.1. I got it working, thank you for your help!

Nothing weird there. The page was updated yesterday.
