Twins'R'Okay Posted January 27, 2020 (edited) nice (for the record I know about the horrifyingly misaligned texture on the second layer of clouds (they look fine in-editor, but SRB2 skyboxes are weird :<), I have a FEELING I might know what it is but idk if it will work yet. Twins'R'Okay Posted April 1, 2020 (edited) Oh hey, I forgot this website exists Blame Eternal and 64 for reminding me so. Anyways I kinda worked a crapton turning my single Kart stage into a full out cup, dubbed the Epic Cup (5 tracks). The Non-Euclidean stage became Ante-Station Zone A gigantic space station that bends dimensions and confuses the player. Not terribly difficult, but will keep you on your toes. (btw due to SRB2Kart's ~~special~~ version of the DOOM engine, some graphical effects do not display in the game's OpenGL mode) The next stage in line is Heaven Pass Zone A remake of one of Sonic Robo Blast 2's circuit maps from one of its many, many, older versions. This one is a little tough, one bump in the wrong direction and you're falling thousands of miles out of the stratosphere. On top of that, this stage is still WIP, its nearly finished, but needs some tweaks and deco before I can deem it release-able. Next up is a small bonus that is NOT in the map rotation, but a ~~special~~ map rotation that, in the vanilla game, is the dump where all scrapped levels reside (unfinished by release/below the quality standard/had a lot of work put into them but still falls below the quality standard/""""classic"""" stages)v2.0.x Special Stage Zone K AKA My first attempt at mapping a kart stage and I thought it would be a good idea to faithfully recreate every old special stage that appeared in Sonic Robo Blast 2 v2.0 plus some other details as an homage to SRB2's long 20+ year history in development AND... you could see the effort and the incompetence :< On top of all of this: Aqua Planet Zone got a small art update and got tweaked a bit to make it more competitive/exciting. Finally, the pack is still planned to have 2 more stages to round out the whole cup. I haven't started on those yet, but here are some buzzwords which hints at what I want both stages to be TRACK IV: NIGHT ROAD STARS TRACK V: STORM DANGER SEQUEL (ignore the last picture idk whats going on but doomworld wont let me delete this :<) Edited April 1, 2020 by Twins'R'Okay 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
