Jalapen0 Posted February 27, 2020 Have the PC, PS4, and Switch version of DOOM. PC one can be made to run past 60 fps, PS4 version looks good on the PS4 Pro, and the Switch one is the most challenging because it only goes 30 fps which makes you seem slower against all those demons. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Jalapen0 Posted March 6, 2020 Does anyone know when we can buy the Switch version of Doom 64? Keeps saying it’s $4.99 but not away to buy the game. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Switch version is capped at 60FPS just the same as PS4/Pro. Edited March 6, 2020 by Edward850 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
FireballCaco Posted March 6, 2020 Both Playstation and Switch versions have their Nazi levels censored just like SNES Wolfenstein 3D. That triggers me to no end, but at least it can be sold in Germany now. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
VGA Posted March 6, 2020 Those are simplistic joke levels, no great loss. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

If it was capped at 60 fps, there would be performance issues. It's so easy to tell when you play the Switch version after playing the same game on the PS4 Pro. Given your assumption, I'm going to assume you have not played the Switch version in addition to whatever version you have played Doom 2016 on. If you played classic Doom, all are 60 fps. Your post did not make it clear that you were talking about Doom 2016. The context in this thread/forum section is the classic Doom ports. It wasn't the Doom, and now I think about it, it wasn't called Doom either. It was Bloodwych. Baldrick the Dung has gained a level 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
