Oh HELL yeah. I just got done reading the 3 part novel series made in the 90s about Billie, Wilks, and their adventures.

I've read this as a comic! Unfortunately, art got worse from chapter to chapter. How was the book?

It's not the same skull (the skull on that shirt in Aliens has round eyes, a lower jaw, a convex nose hole, and a knife stuck in its top), and the skull-and-crossbone is a generic enough symbol that you could also argue it's a reference to Pirates of Caribbeans if you don't go for exact matches.
