invictius Posted February 6, 2020 Specifically Life in Antarctica. D_DOOM is meant to be A touch of evil by Judas Priest? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted February 6, 2020 https://doomwiki.org/wiki/Final_Doom_TNT_music I can sorta hear it. Not entirely convinced though, since it's just one element of the song, and not one of the "foreground" elements. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted February 6, 2020 https://www.opl3.com/final-doom-tnt-evilution/ Kinda interested by this website that credits Jonathan El-Bizri for "Death's Bells" and "Agony Rhapsody", and L.A. Sieben for "Sadistic". How reliable are those claims? As far as the Wiki is concerned, only Mustaine's songs are credited with certainty because he has a site about it. As for "More" being inspired by "A Touch of Evil", I can't say I'm convinced. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Maggle Posted February 8, 2020 I can sorta hear it as well, but if it's just the arpeggio in the backing, I don't think that alone makes it an inspiration, especially since "Death's Bells" is going for a completely different genre and tone. It's not like there isn't a billion, million songs that go "Do-do-do-do, Do-do-do-do". So, I'm not convinced. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
