Is there an option to disable the mancubus fireballs from passing through walls? I really hate that bug

No such option exists. We don't usually fix problems of this kind because this project is focused on compatibility.

Doom's original aspect ratio is 4:3, anything narrower than that leads to various little problems with HUD elements overlapping each other and things like that. I'm curious, what is the resolution of your display? I've never seen a 5:4 aspect ratio.

5:4 is, in a nutshell, a little taller than 4:3. DSDA-Doom, GZDoom and The Eternity Engine support this aspect ratio, but in DSDA-Doom it looks a little weird when you use the fullscreen hud (you can see the sky repeating above).

Hello,

 

i have downloaded the latest "DRS and video tweaks #73" artifact from Github, tested it in a new folder with only a DOOM.WAD in there, changed no options and noticed that the bunny-screen after defeating the Spider Mastermind at E3M8 does not show up.

It shows a black screen. Only music is there and when Daisy's spiked head should be shown i can only see the "THE END" patch coming.

 

That does not happen with the official release.

 

I know this artifact is a dev-build, but wanted to say that if that is not known.

The problem is the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen? We can stretch the image a bit, but I don't think it's satisfactory. Eternity Engine stretches the status bar.

This might be super nitpicky, but since I seem to have an eye for such crazy details: Has anybody noticed that the font shadows of the Boom fullscreen HUD are translated when using blue or yellow tints? (Also affects widgets such as stats and time.)
 

Compare the attachment with this screenshot. Note that in Woof!, "ARM" and "HEL" letter shadows are dark blue while being completely black in the original Boom HUD.

 

All other colors (white, red, green) seem to be OK. I dunno if that can be fixed. It's just a minor matter of consistency. One could argue font contrast is better with black shadows.

Use DSDA-Doom's method. It positions the status bar at the bottom without stretching it. It also lets you see slightly more in-game (above) than 4:3.
