Wait, will the "Cultist Base" Master Level only be avaliable to those who pre-ordered?

It only hit me now, but while looking through the pre-order bonuses, I noticed that the "Master" variation of the level is listed as one of them.

 

Does it mean that if you did not pre-order the game, you will never have the chance to experience it, like ever? If so, I am kinda bummed out, given that playing through the campaign in it's entirety in the "Master mode" would be undoubtably my favourite way of replaying the game, and I cannot pre-order, for my own reasons.

We don't know, but even if it is, they could later release the Cultist Base Master Level for all users down the line. Sort of like how they gave all the Multiplayer DLC for Doom 2016 away for free in the final update.

Marty Stratton said in the Bethesda Game days stream that the Cultist Master level would be available to those who preordered on day one. I think that players can maybe unlock it with xp or they would maybe make it free after a while. I'm also interested in what they would bring to the table in the seasonal events that they would be holding.

Watched hugo martin play cultist base master level on nightmare. The game already looks to be GOTY 2020 in my books.

Hell, I would pay a $ or two to get it, the remixed and beefed-up enemy encounters would justify the price for me.

Thanks, this pretty much confirms that you will be able to get down the line even without a pre-order. I was just a li'l bit afraid that it would be exclusive forever.

Do you mean the DOOM Eternal Master Level Deep Dive? If that's the case, I couldn't catch the bit where he says it.
