Doom Eternal Key in German language

G'day everyone,

 

so I decided to sign myself up here, because I think you guys can give me a possible answer to my question, I have on my mind. I couldn't find an exact answer on the internet so far.

 

I'm a gamer and I'm obsessed with Doom. So of course, I'm definitely going to buy the upcoming game Doom Eternal. I wanted to buy a possible key of the game and since I'm German I looked up on some price comparisons. I just share a following link of the key shop: Doom Eternal price comparison

 

As you can see, you can buy the serial codes from DE shops and EN shops. But when I buy the English key does Doom Eternal, does that mean, the game has the German language as an option on it? Or would you have to play it in English then? I'd be grateful for a helpful answer.

The key origin is important for region locks. E. g. some publishers don't allow you to activate Russian keys for a European account.

 

Usually you can change the language anyway.

From experience in Doom'16, you can change the language settings in Steam.

It's yet to be seen in Eternal, but I figure it will work exactly the same.
