I mean, if we're counting Final Doom, well, we end up seeing multiple IoS type monsters there. Then Doom 2 RPG has VIOS, which may or may not be a similar type of being, if not the same one. Regardless of whether is is THE Icon of Sin, or something like it...Doom 2 really didn't end with a victor per say. Remember that the apocalypse basically happened, with the remnants of humanity being in a bunch of arc style space ships. That's....not a lot of people. Humanity is pretty firlmy defeated in that war, even if they survived long enough to regain some foothold (No Rest for the Living suggests that while the portal is closed, humanity still has to fight back against the demonic remnant). Then there's the follow up in Doom 64, in which a being like the Mother Demon just waltzes in and brings everything back to life. Her and the Archvile suggest that Hell can , in fact, bring back that which is dead. Doesn't matter either way... IF IT BLEEDS, WE SHALL KILL IT. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

Time just flew by I guess, or maybe it's due to me not being that hyped up? Surely I'm not the only one.
