My more serious answer, strictly on videogames, and my criteria has always been more on how cool do I find the character, and that would be Leona Heidern, introvert possessed by part of a demon king who's also a soldier? Plus back in the day I was pretty good with her in the various KoF games. 

 

 

I also really liked Sniper Wolf.

What the hell is a waifu?

I don't find fake people attractive especially the cartoony/anime types. I find that a bit strange myself but whatever blows your skirt up. I can find the idea of an animated character appealing if that person were real. Only one comes to mind is Lara Croft as shown in Legend, Anniversary and Underworld (not the original triangle breasted one, and while I like the reboot one as a character she's a bit of a brat) - adventurous, confident, strong, witty and classy. All admirable and attractive traits.
