Can i play doom eternal on my pc if my processor is an intel I5 3.1 ghz ? I know the minimum says 3.5 but just wondering if it would play . All my other specs are way above min. thks

It might cause some bottlenecking, but you should be okay. If it starts chugging turn down some of the settings and see if that helps it.

Even if it wouldn't start you could still return it within 14 days. As long as you'd have less than 2 hours played on it (That's the case for the Steam release)

If everything else in your setup meets the requirements, it should be mighty fine, and the bottlenecking minimal - if at all, never CPUs can run at lower frequencies more efficiently than older ones did at higher.

Should be fine. System specs presented by developers factor in some margin and just present the ideal minimum and recommended spec for a consistent experience. That does not mean older processors and videocards will not be able to do the same.

From what I know, minimum requirements defines only by the weakest PC developers have. I.e. developers will not buy pentium core i1 duo and radeon 1.3x to check is game would run on such configuration or no.
