lazygecko Posted March 23, 2020 Just curious. The writing is attributed to Steve Behling and Michael Stewart. I reckon it must feel kind of weird having your writing for what was in all likelihood a very throwaway gig for a one-off promo project survive and eventually mutate into the defining quotes/taglines for the franchise over 2 decades later when it is once again catapulted into mainstream pop culture. Both of them seem pretty elusive and not too prolific as writers. From what I can tell, both have a seasoned history primarily for Marvel. Steve Behling is still active today credited as writer for Duck Tales comics. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post

taufan99 Posted March 25, 2020 Here's Behling's Twitter (he even tweeted to id Software back in September 2019 about how he made the DOOM comic) and here's Stewart's blog. Y'know, just in case somebody really wants to interview them. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

fraggle Posted July 19, 2020 I asked @thatsbelievable some questions back in January 2018. I don't have a Twitter any more (deleted my account) but here are the tweets for posterity: 12 Quote Share this post Link to post
