Tell me, what kinds of levels do you like in Doom/Doom2? My favorite are the Base-style ones. Some of the Hell-Themed levels are OK.
What kinds of Doom levels do you like?

Hell themed of course! And 're-worked' base levels like episode 2 levels from Doom.
But I also like base levels and city ones as well.

I dislike all DooM 2 levels. DooM E1 and E2 had the best levels IMO.

There's not enough GOOD hell-themed levels. Normally I like a variety of everything, but it's just driving me nuts trying to find good hell maps. I'd almost pay for good hell maps now.

Hmm...well not all Doom2 levels are bad. The majority of original Doom2 levels could have been better, and some are bad, and don't make much sense, but not all of them are bad. Some of them are actually quite good.
If you want to see bad Doom2 levels, play Plutonia Experiment from Final Doom.

I've played Plutonia... they were more fine-tuned than most of the Doom2 levels, I gotta admit that, but god they were beyond simplistic. In fact, I really only remember a few of the earlier levels because I just couldn't stand that WAD.

Most of Doom2's levels are a sloppy mess, some are good in certain ways but the only real hell-ish level they had was The Spirit World.

And A few others, yeah so they're not all hell but...
