Need sky textures

So for a wad I'm making (It's using Doom 2 if that matters) I need specific sky texture replacements. Sky1 should be the "Thy Flesh Consumed" sky texture. Sky2 should be basically the same as Sky1 but purple instead of orange (I don't know if that's possible without changing the color palette) and then Sky3 should be just the default Hell sky

You can just use Slade to extract the Thy Flesh Consumed sky and then plop it into your wad.

I don't think making the first sky from Doom 2 purple will look good, considering it has a lot of browns and there are only 5 purples in the palette, one of them being p much full magenta, IIRC.

 

EDIT: made a pinkish red sky. Purple is not possible without changing the palette.

 

 

EDIT 2: Actually now that I look at this, it could be a bit nicer even, but I can not be arsed right now.

yeah i get there's only 5 purples and that's why i said that the color palette would probably have to be edited, and i meant making the Thy Flesh Consumed sky purple which might be easier cause it's basically a bunch of shades of one color

 

EDIT: can i maybe get a link to download the sky from Thy Flesh Consumed?

Here's the sky. Purple would not work here either because this is like 24 colours, as opposed to 5.

Also, try to learn how to use Slade, it is really easy to extract stuff and edit wads with it.

yeah i've been using Slade for a while now and I've pretty much gotten the hang of it, I think instead of making it purple i'll just download some kind of night sky, thanks!
