Mithral_Demon Posted March 25, 2020 The official release only runs on what it comes with. In the EX Port (same engine, different build), it has those counts. If the devs who frequent the forums know how to add it in, they could possibly chime in. If they did it, it'd be one of the few things that doesn't break the game since it's just for 100% sake. seed Posted March 25, 2020 There are currently no source ports that can play Doom 64, apart from the OG EX if you have the ROM. The remaster only works with itself at this time. Some ports might add it later down the road though, the GZDoom devs are interested in supporting the game eventually, for one. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
bjh13 Posted March 25, 2020 There is a way to get the new wad to work with Doom 64 EX if you are will to open it in Slade and tweak several things. How accurate it works I'm not sure, they made some changes to how sounds play in the new engine for example and Doom 64 EX still has some bugs that I don't think they plan to fix now that they maintain the official port, but it's certainly functional with some effort. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
