Best Doom Client for 2020 which includes Multiplayer ??

Dear Marines.

I simply cannot decide which client i shoud use. At best were a Client which includes Multiplayer and Maybe an Editor ? (i never Edited) 10y before I was using zdaemon (this one with a serverlist which also was able to act as server.)

 

What are u using ? The last Doom i played was the 3D-Remake which was banned by Bethesda and is only available via Torrent (i cannot understand why they ban a fan based mod. they kick their own fans in da face just for a few bucks more.)

I use ZDaemon, Zandronum, and Odamex, along with Doom Explorer as the actual server browser.

The current active ports are the ones @Doomkid suggested:

• Odamex is based on ZDoom 1.22.
• ZDaemon is based on ZDoom 1.23.
• Zandronum is based on GZDoom 1.8.6 and ZDoom 2.8pre-441-g458e1b1.

I literally quick-checked that shit prior to posting. >< And somehow in tabs i still managed to fuck it up.

Thanks guys. im with ZDoom now and im really happy.

It works flawless and i never experienced any Problems with it.
