Agreed, though, just because he spends all his time ripping and tearing and slaying the forces of evil, doesn't mean he wouldn't pay any taxes he owed.

Now i'm not an expert on Doom lore, But considering hell invading all of known mankind i'm not sure if there's any goverment left to pay taxes to.

Before all the shit hit the fan I’m guessing Doomguy was paid using taxpayer dollars, what with being a marine. Unless the UAC was completely independent of the government, in which case he would technically be a contractor and would indeed have to pay taxes.

As others have stated, as soon as a huge chunk of humanity died in the Hell invasion, stuff like this probably ceased to matter for a good long while..

With the Earth being in this state, I don't think something like that would be that much of a priority.

I wouldn't be surprised if the government itself was turned into demons which instead of taking traditional taxes now takes human torture, suffering and souls as a new form of tax.

Would Praetor Tokens count as taxable income? Otherwise I don't think the Doom Slayer has one.

Given that his primary residence is the Fortress of Doom, which is presently in Earth orbit, I don't think he would be liable for any property taxes.

It seems reasonable to assume that being an owner-operator of a private spacecraft in the 22nd century requires some kind of insurance policy, but it's clear that whatever still passes for the human authorities in the Solar system have bigger things on their plates than one uninsured pilot.

Plot Twist: The Fed Reserve are frauds and the IRS are nothing but a goon arm and enemy of the people and laws are passed by criminal puppets, but if you don't pay up the extortion they have the power to ruin your life and continuously take everything from you.   If only they would catch the attention of the Doom Slayer!
