megasphere = great.

invulnerability = godlike.

blursphere = mixed feelings.

This is a post I desesperately needed because I had no freaking clue what the spheres meant
All say "Like" and I never thought more than:

Soulsphere: normal like, as it's the default one
Megasphere: this is the only one I could come up with something, I think of it as a super like (as it's like a much better version of Soulsphere)
 

But as for the other two, I've never stopped to think what they can mean

Partial invisibility I guess it's like... I kinda see your point, but not totally... Just partially...

And Invulnerability is like, your opinion is invincible and I totally agree with you?

 

Jesus just lend me the Doomworld forums user manual to check what each sphere mean already

Well, the partial invisibility is in practice usually a powerdown and not a powerup... so everyone who uses it accordingly is doing it right IMO.

You all misconstrue invulnerability as being better than megasphere. Why? In the game I get invulnerability and I immediately panic, not only because I'm blinded by light, but because it will eventually run out and I'll be back where I started in thirty seconds. 

 

Megaspheres are forever, like true love. These are reserved for posts that empower us to be better individuals.

I've always found Megaspheres the most useful of all of the spheres. And both of you could probably use them.

Invisibility: Never Used

Megasphere: Soulsphere+, but not as many understand it as such

Invincibility: logically the best, buit Megasphere somehow took that title and now it's basicly just like Invisibility

I use invulns whenever I think a comment is funny and invisospheres whenever I see something I could comment on, but don't various reasons such as but not limited to being a lazy sack. Practically the Doomworld version of being left on read.

 

Soulspheres, just like how every user uses them, is only for long texts by veteran members you don't read or only read two whole lines before giving up. But still want to give a react since they're a veteran user. Don't lie to yourself you do that too.

 

Alternatively I just shit on my own ruleset and give whatever react looks cool to me.

Despite it being overwhelmingly unpopular as a power-up among experienced players, my tendency to use the Invisosphere specifically as a Like symbol is simply because I like how it looks. Nothing more, nothing less.

Meanwhile for some reason i always find invisible sphere more akin to dislike xd idk why, i like the powerup, even in it's inferior form.
