Cant Perfect Perfection Milestone

Recommended Posts

So I'm on a mission to beat all milestones for the campaign and I only got two left, "Escaped The madness" and "Cant Perfect Perfection." Thing is I'm confused about the requirements for the second one in particular. The game states that the way to get this milestone is to beat the campaign by only acquiring one suit perk and one sentinel crystal. Does this mean I can only use one of each once I get them both? Or I cant acquire them at all (meaning getting more than one perk via weapon challenges and combat encounters which give you perks by beating those in levels, but I don't use those perks so they're just in my inventory still) I just need help from someone whos got this milestone to clear it up for me so I don't do the whole campaign and not get the milestone.

The suit perks are the stuff you upgrade with those praetor tokens. I think you can pick up the tokens all you want, just not cash them in.
And the crystal things you only get when activating those crystal pillars, so you only do that once and then never again. Sounds easy enough to me.

I think you can upgrade your weapons still. Has nothing to do with the challenge.

I did not get it yet, but from the description it seems pretty straightforward.

You can acquire extra suit upgrade points, as long as you don't actually use them.

Be careful with crystals, when you interact with them you're forced to choose an upgrade.

I hope that's true, I've played the campaign at least 6 six times now on varying difficulties to get these challenges done and this is my last one before I enter pain to complete it on Ultra Nightmare. Right as of now in the campaign i'm on, I only got one crystal used and avoided all the others and I use one token. That's it.

You can, I took Faster Dasher as my one suit upgrade and it takes four points/tokens.

I just got the one that lets you swing off pipes faster and climbs ledges faster cause it only cost one. And my crystal was spent on Health so I'm gonna have to beat the campaign on 125 health and 50 armor. At least I put it on Hurt Me Plenty to myself a bit of a break from my previous nightmare playthrough. I think I'm good for now.

I recently got that achievement and can confirm: the wording of the challenge is vague, but you are allowed to take one crystal, and unlock one suit upgrade, even if that upgrade costs multiple tokens. Having (or picking up) unspent tokens in your inventory will not affect the achievement, nor will weapon mods or runes. Basically you can play everything as normal, so long as you don't activate any more crystal podiums or buy any more suit options after the first one.

Done the challenge before. Honestly not too difficult if you plan your playstyle accordingly. Played on UV the whole way through.

My setup was putting all my praetor points into the extra dash because I can't live without that sweet sweet infinite dash to move around the map. It is IMO the best perk to use for the challenge.

I put my sentinel crystal into ammo so that I can at least have ammo to consistently damage the Icon without forcing myself to chainsaw every few seconds of usage. The dash more than makes up for the lack of health you will have.

Runes I went for faster glories, longer stagger, and longer range on glories so that I can consistently get myself topped on ammo and health and focused heavily on mastering the SSG to get the armor bonuses more consistently.

If you plan your build properly, you should do fine in the challenge.
