In a YouTube video I forgor, there was a typical 'console wars' argument concerning then-affordable 90's vintage consoles. Someone mentioned the SNES' first video mode, mode 0, which has 4 background layers with only 3 colours per tile, as an advantage the SNES has over other early 90's affordable consoles.

Another person disagreed, believing the 3 colour per tile limitation was way too limited to be worth the extra background layer, and believing this disadvantage made the whole video mode useless.

I made this one myself.  Circuit boards have always been beautiful to me in their intricacy -- their asymmetry and pathways are practical works of artistry.  I also find the night sky and this galaxy to be wonderful to behold in sight.  I merged the two concepts together visually to create this digital piece.
