Viewmodel fov?

I love how even on consoles doom (2016) and doom eternal had fov sliders but one thing that has always bothered me and why I don't use the classic pose is how high it is and blocking right in front of you I wish id would add a viewmodel fov slider or even a viewmodel min mode like in tf2 that would make it take up less space for us to see on the screen.

At a point his arms and gun probably just stop. then you just have floating guns shooting and floating arms killing demons.

I had the same issue with the classic weapon pose in 2016. I remember the rifle with the scope on almost going all the way up to the center of the screen! They should definitely be way lower.

 

A classic status bar HUD would be fun, too.
