How can I credit someone's resources from PK3s I rip

Hey guys, so I have a question about crediting and telling them they create textures, sounds, monsters, weapons, and other things. I saw the PK3 monsters like Scoredoom and I wanted to bring their monsters into my own pk3. How can I let them know that it's theirs and credit them????????? I don't want to be in trouble or anything, I am just asking a question about that. Thank you!

However, first check if there is a standard template text file with a Permission clause.

First, look at Scoredoom's own credit file -- a number of the monsters it contains were taken from other sources. Mostly from Realm667. I see some are from KDiZD, some are from Demon Eclipse, some are from AEOD, some seem to be custom edits that I suppose are by BilboHicks but they're variants of other Realm667 monsters; e.g. the Arachnobaron is declined into ArachnoHellknight and ArachnoBelphegor too.

 

Basically just do a honest attempt at finding the original source of the monster and credit that.
