Dubbag Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) Anyone remember "Massmouth"? Especially "Massmouth 2". I wish they made a 3rd. Back in the day that WAD was very impressive to me and kind of still is. Also it was very challenging. Anyone know whatever happened to that? I mean it's whatever but anyone enjoy that as much as I did? LOL I know this is random but it just came into my head. I figure it ended after 2 but fuck it I'd play a 3rd one. Edited May 4, 2020 by Dubbagdarrel 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Jello Posted May 5, 2020 (edited) I loved Massmouth 1 & 2, but doing a cursory google search, Cyb hasn't been around for six years, doing ACS scripting on Urban Brawl was the last mention I can find of him, and he's on hiatus. And I guess I haven't seen him post here in quite a while. Which sucks, he always seemed like a good guy, and talented at Doom mapping. If you read this, I hope you're doing well Cyb, you made some damn good .wads. Edited May 5, 2020 by Jello 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Not Jabba Posted May 5, 2020 3 minutes ago, Jello said: Last project he worked on was Urban Brawl in 2014. Urban Brawl was actually released in 2008. The 2014 credit is for the free re-release of the bonus content that came with the box version of the original. So yeah, he hasn't been around for quite a while. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

It seems like just yesterday I was playing the first Action Doom, and the Massmouth's. So yeah, he hasn't been around for quite a while. I was new to the capabilities of editing back then. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Bauul Posted May 5, 2020 I too have fond memories of Massmouth. I think it may have been the first ZDoom-only mod I ever played, back when ZDoom seemed to solely be for technically-advanced mod-work. And back when the most valuable item in the world was a CD with the Windows source code on. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Lizardcommando Posted May 5, 2020 I don't remember much of Massmouth 1 but Massmouth 2 was really cool. I think this was one of the first ZDoom mods I played after NJTrain. I remember the soundtrack being really good, like that one for the level that took place in a jungle and you had to find some tiny people. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
