Do you lose the features menu in Doom 64 for the PS4 when you restart the console?

Recommended Posts

I have read that this was the case for the N64 version. I also read on another thread here that someone beat the campaign, and then went to play the fun levels but they didn't have the features menu anymore. does it go away in the new PS4 version? Also, does the PS4 version save your passwords, the way the N64 would if you had a controller pack memory card?

You unlock it after you beat hectic. you just have to destroy every barrel in order, then a secret teleporter opens. After you beat Hectic the hard way (really isn't that hard) you get all the features.

Not really the answer to OP's question. He's asking IF the features menu will still be there after beating the fun levels and then rebooting the game.

EDIT: See below.

I already answered it here.

unfortunately your answer did not work, I did lose the features menu after loading from a password. I’m going to start the game over this time only saving and loading

hm, I guess I reconsider what I just said and say yes, it does disappear after you restart the game.

however, I kept a save at the point where I could push the proper exit button in Hectic.

that is a great idea. keep a save at the end of Hectic and then play the main-frame-game on save slot number 1, play the fun levels up-and-upon save slot number 2, play-em-up for your “lost levels” up-‘n-on “save slot three”, up-and-then stick your map-forty-lost-levels-fun-level right there on your save slot number 4. how does that sound to you you think?
