Has there been any mods that enforce a Melee-only start?

From what i know, there's been little to no doom weapon mods that use the PO'ed Melee Start/PO'ed Pan Start, What are your opinions/Thoughts/etc on Mods enforcing a PO'ed Melee start in situations that are normally pistol starts?

Maybe in WADs and Mods.

I think I saw an ICARUSLIV3S video with a mod called ACTION DOOM 2: URBAN BRAWL. That seems to be a Melee WAD.

Strain is likely the most prominent example. You start with 0 bullets, but you punch faster than vanilla.

You get a like for remembering PO'ed.

 

STRAIN is the example I would go with, as TheNoob_Gamer pointed out. You start with no bullets, but basically you double-punch instead.

Asylum of the Wretched also starts with zero bullets (and 23 health). Though that might be mainly so that you don't immediately shoot the two guards dead and end up stuck in your cell.
