How do you make doom have a good color scale?

Im looking through the options on slade 3 and I come upon the color scale option I have been having problems with a rather ugly lighting and color scale is there anyway I can make the shading and lighting look better. My Macbook pro retina 2015 13 inch scale is on a color scale of Color LCD. I just want a more tasteful look and color scale that is a bit more like what you would see in doom gameplay videos.

Describe "color scale". Are you talking about how red and pink colors fade to brown as they get darker? If so, you would either need to use a hardware rendered port or at least one that supports truecolor rendering. The only other option would be a WAD file that modified the color palette and the colormap.

Yes im talking about that @Wagi
