chemo Posted June 22, 2020 https://slayersclub.bethesda.net/en/article/396kKRCJRv9lGZbNIa8rXh/doom-eternal-update-2-preview I guess this explains why they extended the "Precious Metals" event. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
AtimZarr1 Posted June 22, 2020 (edited) Update 1 was released on a Thursday, so I'm guessing this one will be released on the 25th then. EDIT: Looking at the screenshots, I wonder if the new Torment MP map is a hint for a location in one of the DLCs. Every MP map so far is based on an environment from the campaign, while Torment has an "overgrown foliage on a facility" aesthetic that isn't present anywhere in the campaign. While that does seem interesting, I should probably add that Torment's overall base aesthetic is heavily rooted in Cultist Base/Doom Hunter Base more than anything. That said, I still do remember a piece of Eternal's concept art that does show a ruined facility in a jungle setting overtaken by foliage, so perhaps a Plutonia-style map could still be in the cards for the DLC. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Hunting4r2d2 Posted June 22, 2020 I'm really digging the whole overgrown aesthetic of the new multiplayer, giving me strong Plutonia vibes. 3 hours ago, AtimZarr1 said: EDIT: Looking at the screenshots, I wonder if the new Torment MP map is a hint for a location in one of the DLCs. I was thinking the same thing. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
