Looking for some cool monster custom sprites (no custom monsters)

Hi guys, you are always very helpful here, i am looking for some cool monster retextures to use in my wip megawad, i like (for example) the arachnotrons and lost souls from valiant, so i am looking for something like that for other monsters as well, possibly that can be used freely with the proper credits. Any advice? Sorry for the dumb question but it's not easy to search for them by myself :)

There was Demonicron, on the ZDoom forums. Also try looking at Shades of Doom.

Ok i am downloading shades, even though i can't quite understand what it does, seems like a collection of monsters taken from realm667 from what i see in the screenshots, so we are talking about new monsters and not resprites.

Demonicron though seems really cool, i d really want to use zombiemen and sergeants, but the download link doesn't work anymore, any idea?

Shades is a bunch of monster variants; you could reuse the sprites from one of the variants. Check the credits but I believe all the sprites are free for reuse.

Hell-Forged contains heavily modified versions of numerous monsters, including the imp, demon, arachnotron, revenant, mancubus, cyberdemon, and spider mastermind. The author has uploaded the resources for public use, which you can find in the thread below.

It's very easy to de-customize many of the Realm667 monsters and use their sprites as simple reskins. So long as you credit the authors there's nothing wrong with doing this. If you need help with vanillafying something you find there just let me know.

 

You can also find lots of good sprites to use for the player, zombiement, shotgunners or chaingunners in 150skins

thanks, i know more or less how to do that, the fact is that i really tried everything that there is in realm667 (monsters i mean), and i already took what i needed, and most of them don't really fit with the vanilla monsters. Now i've found most of what i need, i may be searching for a zombieman but the 150skins on slade shows only black and white sprites so i can't really understand how they are ...
