Teleporting monsters in death state

Question

I set up a crusher that crushes a stack of barrels next to a monster, pushing it into teleporting linedef. The result is that monster arrives dead on the other side.

 

This works fine in Doom 2 format in Crispy and GZ Doom, but when I switched to Boom and tried it in PrBoom+ it failed - teleport flash was seen but corpse never arrived. Yet it still worked in GZ Doom.

Anyone knows the reason behind it and if it could be bypassed?
