Doom -1: A Doomworld Experiment

Neat idea, but it could turn into an unplayable clusterfuck really fast if we are allowed to add new maps, textures, custom monsters while also editing previous maps, as many times as we feel like.

NAH NAH is outdated :( sorry

 

hi! i made the last room much less "plutonia" to more "doom 1", but still hard! not plutonia hard, just a little hard you know?

- the room is bigger!

- removed the Supershotgun, Mancubus, Revenants and Pain elemental.

- replaced with more ammo, Pinkys, Hell knights, Cacodemons and a Baron of hell.

- extra secret!

- added a box of shells in the shotgun room now is more useful to go there.

 

^.=.^ this was fun to modify!

- Fixed MAP02 so that it was actually beatable (there was no yellow skull-key, and even after I added one the door itself was bugged.)
- Added an arena to the top path in the crossroad made by Rosh Fragger

- Fixed a bug in MAP01 where there was two green armors

I'd recommend taking the latest version and coping your changes from your version over to the latest

EDIT: I forgot to mention I don't know how to get the boss tag working, if anybody could help get that working that'd be much appreciated!

You might have to make serious modification to my map30, i added a lot of rockets and plasma ammo (plus another row of bosstargets) but for some reason it didn't save my changes

Well, anyway, the official v0.24 is here, added some visuals and an extra MAP11 level. I think the new final boss can be very useful, we could put three of them, one at 11, one at 20, and there is already one at 30. Also, the music at MAP02 is nice, and I think I've heard the music at MAP30 somewhere.

I hope someone makes it so the custom boss will end the level upon death, like the Icon of Sin.
