igg Posted July 24, 2020 Due to my crappy internet connection I usually don't play battlemode. But when I do, I lose kind of 90 % of my matches. Mostly because my lack of knowledge about basic strategies, player movement and overall experience. The battlemode fights themself aren't very useful to practice - they are quite short and after 3 rounds you have to wait ~ 2 minutes until a new match has been set up. I would really appreciate bot matches, how about you? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
thewormofautumn Posted July 27, 2020 Bot matches would be good to farm the remaining achievements. I’ve no desire to play Battlemode at all but there are achievements tied to it and that annoys me 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Zemini Posted July 27, 2020 Bot mode esp for slayer players would be very helpful. Right now there really isn't any way to practice. You can kinda make a BM Slayer in the Campaign but even so it is very unclear on which synergies and perks you need to get. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Gokuma Posted July 28, 2020 A lot of people probably beat their head against a wall, but I advise against that method. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Good practice method that I recommend for both UN and Battlemode warmups is to turn on the Famine cheat, take off all runes, turn difficulty up to nightmare and complete a level with a Slayer gate. Learning to play without any health pickups and max damage output is great at teaching you to weapon swap and move efficiently. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Gokuma Posted July 30, 2020 Some people practice for dodge ball by evading metal wrenches. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
geekmarine Posted August 2, 2020 Personally, I just throw myself into trial by fire. Still get my ass kicked on a routine basis, but I'm getting the hang of it. Might seem obvious, but the most important things I've learned is to NEVER stay still, and never rely on one weapon. You gotta be hitting that boost button like you're trying to break it. You gotta jump constantly, and make constant use of jump pads and monkey bars. Also pick a player and stick on him like glue; yeah, it makes it more difficult to get that second kill if the other player isn't very damaged, but one kill is better than none, and often you can throw players off balance by suddenly hammering them with everything you've got. Disclaimer: I'm not very good at Battlemode myself, but I'm definitely walking away from more fights having done some real damage to the other team. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
SYS Posted August 15, 2020 Suck at the game until you suck less at the game. I forgot all about the tutorials and didn't use any summons for a few matches. It was worth it to hear a teammate turn on their mic only to let out mouth breather sighs of disapproval. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
