Clippy's new Doom 2 map : "Fortress of Secrecy" ! --- 100 secrets!

I love secrets so I just had to make this map and put 100 secrets in it, can you find it all?

 

Tested only in Gzdoom - but is a standard type map with nothing fancy - I think dynamic lights would be cool looking

 

No jumping or crouching, freelook optional

 

All difficulty settings supported

 

ITYTD/HNTR - 150 monsters

HMP - 200 monsters

UV - 300 monsters

multiplayer - 450 monsters

You've outdone yourself yet again, my friend. The level of work and detail into your trickery and how the map unfolds is incredible. Hopefully, you'll get some good feedback and playthrough videos, especially ones better than mine. But for what it's worth, please enjoy this stupid video.

@Biodegradable thanks for having to look at my unorthodox map Buddy. This is me just having fun making the most random map ever. And yes that red door was meant to be shot at or used with a red key. I'll be back down the road with a more traditional map haha. Exit is at the start because this is kind of gimmick a map and the only way a 100 secrets map could work for me. I figured people would just leave when they were done exploring. Always love your videos with that Seinfeld ending haha

 

@Zolgia108 no worries buddy feel free to have a look when you have time. I'm not expecting anybody to ever UV max this one

Again I don't see anybody finding all these secrets. At least not without maybe popping my wad into an editor

 

But I have tested it multiple times and 100% kills and secrets and items is obtainable

I'm an hour in so far, 63 secrets, all weapons, all three keys and, I think, all the kills except the Arch-Viles in the walls.

i did get the map, then on my second hour of playing i spent like 1 hour to finally find 49 secrets and the red key after those lollll, im not going to post that video it was only a search and i was like braindead. Now that i have a key i am going to find all of them. (first video still uploading)

Yep, that's how I found a bunch of them. I can areas where there might be some, but the triggers remain elusive.

ok im exhausted, 66 secrets and i am missing those archies as well, 10 kills left i mean.

I m going to sleep, tomorrow i will continue (i need to understand how to lower the wall near the tree so that i can press the switch to lower the red stairs and press yet another switch to get the bfg) buahaahaahah awesome buddy

If you're talking about thin Red blood stairs. Yeah you have to be fast. Even I need to use multiple attempts

I currently paused it at 13 and a half minutes to fix something that I didn't realize I screwed up

 

that green room with the rockets on the pillars were supposed to be all the way up to the ceiling and not weirdly halfway in the middle

 

Whoops

 

I replaced the original file now to fix this cosmetic mistake

 

I'm really trying to make sure this map has no goofs in it

-I didn't know you could lower that invuln sphere from the other side haha at around 21 min mark

 

You also mentioned one time secrets, and I wanted to tell people that I have none of those. There is no one chance and you miss it secrets here

At 99 secrets all those blue pillars would have lowered for the mega secret

Up to 95-ish. The only two ones I know are missing are the wooden door near where the blue key is and, I presume, the plasma rifle in the pool surrounded by teleport lines. There is at least one which is under an item I was saving to pick up. No idea where the others even are.
