Alright after a bit of reflection it's become pretty clear to me that I don't  have the time, or energy to run a dedicated play testing service at the moment. A combination of things has lead to this feeling like a chore, or something that I 'have' to do which sucking the joy out of the whole process. I'm only going to be getting busier with dev work over the next 12 months so with that in mind I will be closing the official playtesting requests list.

 

Now, hopefully this is temporary and I can find time in the future to get back into it but I'm not making any predictions or promises at this point in time.

I will also still be playing Doom. One of things I've realized I've been missing out on is just playing Doom wads for fun. There's a bunch of recent releases that I want to play, but felt I haven't been able to justify with the backlog on the playtesting list. With that in mind people are still welcome to reach out to me if they have something they think I might like to play on stream.

 

I will not be deleting the list and if I do resurrect it then people who are already on there will have a reserved slot to request something for me to play.

 

Apologies to all the mappers whose work I never got to. There are lots of other great playtesters still active that you can reach out to (check the pinned DW thread).
