Which is harder doom 2 or doom eternal?

Doom Eternal is by far a harder game, but in all honesty, Doom 2 and Doom Eternal are practically two different genre's, they're drastically different

Doom 2 is happy frolic through a field of flowers on a warm summer's day with a half dozen puppies following you and scampering about in playful and amusing ways compared to Doom Eternal. If you find Doom 2 in any way difficult, do not even think about Doom Eternal.
