Fun and crazy. Not my cup of tea, but I respect the idea and execution :)

Maybe add a perimeter in the blood sea that blocks monsters. I had a couple of Cacodemons that hovered waaaaaaaaay the hell away from me and they took forever to come back. Or rather, I got impatient and went out to shoot them.

I was going to record an FDA but forgot to set the recording flag in my launcher :\. I recorded a 2nd run anyway: 128kse4_2nd.lmp

 

Only major problem I had was that the linedef under the soulsphere that pops up the teleporter switch is way smaller than the soulsphere's hitbox, so it's very easy to accidentally grab the soulsphere without triggering it, which caused me to no-exit my FDA even after I killed everything since I had to check the editor to figure out how to progress. I did some test runs before that and got the switch to pop up sometimes, but I had no idea what was causing it until I checked because there's no clue that the soulsphere is related to the switch.

 

I think the rad suits should maybe be removed, since it makes it way too easy when you can just camp in the nukage and kill everything from outside. The first run I did, I didn't know about the suits so I stayed on the platform the whole time and rocketed everything, which was a lot more exciting. I also agree with Chris that the outside border needs some monster blocking linedefs because if a caco gets bounced away it's pretty much gone forever unless you chase it.

 

Also because of infinite height linedefs you can hit the teleporter switch immediately and exit the map in 4 seconds if you want: 128kse4-04.lmp Not sure if that's a problem for normal play unless someone does it by accident, but it's funny.

Thanks for the feedback! I've added series to monster only passing teleport lines than put back any monsters that flew away from center arena, plus fixed some of the stuff BoxY found out and put some difficulty settings to the monsters, link is the same plus some new info.

Episode 1 is complete

Episode 2 miss 3 maps to be completed

Episode 3 and 4 miss 2 maps both to be completed

If people don't show up near the deadline, you could just open every remaining slot on a first come first served basis, that way if anyone out there wants to contribute on short notice the slot at least won't be wasted.

Agree with @BoxY. That could work. Or you reach out to those of us who already made a map and open up the spots for us. I'm busy with other things, but I will find the time to make another map if it will help us release a complete megawad. And I'm sure there are people who feel the same. But first, as Boxy said, opening up the spots for anyone willing to make a map is a good idea and should be tried first.

Perhaps a message should be sent to everyone who hasn't submitted their map yet? Give them a chance to say "still working" or "what kb challenge?"

Is what I thinking to do, actually... So are you still working on this? Otherwise, I'll free your slot. I'll move forward the final deadline of a week, too.

I wonder if the sequence of maps will be such that there will be 3 full episodes and 2-3 maps for E4. Or just leave empty slots at the end of each episode? How best to organize it, I myself do not have an exact answer, but I tend more towards the first. Unless, of course, the third option appears, when all the maps are ready.

All right, a episode 2 slot is free if anyone wants to do a map for! Remember that there's E2M8 not done yet afaik if you want to do a final boss map...

Obviously, I'll be waiting for all the maps to be completed, otherwise I'll leave some empty slots in the episode, I'll use the secret exit switch for skipping the missing maps

Yeah I got caught up with life and other projects that I wasn't really able to work on it. I would just free up the slot, I apologize for sitting on it for so long.
