[solved] doomu.wad gives error in Ultimate Doom Builder

I cant figure out why udb would try to load resources that aren't in doomu.wad

Because you're loading it with a Doom 2 game config?

Exactly like Boris said. Load it as the Doom config, not the Doom 2 config.

 

Final Doom will also basically use the Doom 2 config, but for Doom/Ultimate Doom, you MUST use the regular Doom config.

What is doomu.wad? I thought Ultimate Doom was simply DOOM.WAD?

You are correct.

But how else would an editor make the differentiation between the iwad for DOOM and DOOM Ultimate for the config setting when one wants to use both iwads?
