John McAfee Arrested for U.S. Tax Evasion

Recommended Posts

I kind of liked his crazy, "over the top" personality. Too bad we won't have new material to make new memes anymore :'(

I can only assume that he's abandoned his bid for the presidency at this point.

Given all the shit he's done, I'm surprised that his name is still being used as a brand for antivirus software (at least to my knowledge it hasn't been phased out yet).

After doing some Google searches for him since the news broke, I've been getting a lot of targeted advertisements everywhere for McAfee software.

Ever saw pictures of him in a Dominican prison? McAfee is so charismatic, all the inmates will want to be friends with him. He will get favors and enjoy his time in prison.

Also, the murder thing is a rumor. It's never been proven and he's only been considered "a person of interest" by the police.

hahaha, I find the man to be a total ride and vibe. He isn't a murderer, at least in the law's eyes. There's a reason it's called "Innocent until proven guilty."

From the time I studied law, (nothing noteworthy, it was a summer program), we'd get moral questions thrown at us all the time. One of them was "If X (Harold) kills Y (Betty), and is caught and taken to court, is he guilty?

The answer is no... or at least.... "Not yet". No one is guilty until proven so. Of course McAfee is lucky in the sense that he wasn't caught red-handed, if he did do the deed, but it's clear it's he just a joke about it. If not a thief or murderer, he is a "larger than life" type of guy. I wouldn't waste the time getting worked up over him and call him "Scum" for what equates to a human shitpost. Plus, now I'm not a betting man, but I'm willing to gamble that this "imprisonment" gig won't last to long for a man with his abilities ;)

You think evading taxes is worse than what the government regularly does? If you think starting wars all over the world, taking countless lives is cool than keep thinking that way. If you think protecting creeps like Jefferey Epstein is a good thing then by all means keep thinking that. If not maybe you should decide who's side you'd rather be on.

I think the problem is he specifically mentioned the feds for some reason in his post history. Why? This does not make sense to me. The feds mint the money, they also are the ones who go after Epstein and his ilk. For sure, he had the wrong people in mind when he was talking about his vision.
