I have to go with UT99 as my fave. No, not Doom, although i started playing both in the very late 90s. UT99's gameplay is practically timeless, as is the first episode of Doom. Quake 3 i played much less, but it has grown on me since 2007. 

 

Serious Sam is another. I just like mindless fun. Duke 3D, and such, These are more known titles.

Doom I & II - Yes

UT99 - Best multiplayer FPS. CTF and bunnytracks are timeless.

Deus Ex - Amazing storyline probably the best in the entire videogame industry.

Half-life - 100% continuous gameplay, amazing atmosphere, love how the story goes.

F.E.A.R - Shat my pants with the jumpscares. Also excellent A.I. and nail gun.

Blood is the best Build Engine game ever made, so it's not surprising. Generally when I get a new computer it's the second (well, third) game I install after Doom 1 and 2. It is just so damn good. Then Quake, Postal 2, and Soldier of Fortune 2. Those are the games that have to be on my computer.

 

@Loud SilenceI forgot about NOLF. Not one of my absolute favorite games, but they score very high; especially the first game. The gameplay and humor in those games was incredibly underrated, and I give you kudos for your good taste. I really miss Monolith during their heyday.

I would reccommend the mods move this "Everything Else" because this kinda just feels tangentially related to Doom.

Forgot about Urban Chaos: Riot Response, one of the best FPS games released on the PS2, and one of the best console FPS games period.

 

Condemned: Criminal Origins was really damn good as well, even if it was more of a first person melee game for most of it. Shame Monolith decided to add all the weird supernatural shit at the end of Condemned 2.
