I have some important news

My grandmother recently died and I don't have the drive to map or do anything else, so I'm going to post the unfinished version of the wad, that way people can do whatever they want with it, maybe someone else can complete it

Sorry for your loss; totally understandable.

I will take a look into whats done, and even try something just for fun, just have to compile the info.

Hell friend, it is hard to hear that news, I really hope you can recover from that misfortune that just happened in your life... the only thing I can tell you is, keep your forehead high, and do not retain that pain for a long time.

Awesome to see this; I'm on my way to bed but I'll play it when I can.

 

Give me just a couple days and I can wrap up and give you a much longer, full version of Pain-and-Paper for future versions to use. That little minute-long loop probably gets old REAL damn fast, heh

Just played through it (with god mode on, difficulty is very hard here, for my play strenght) and I think both of you managed to do something that doesn't even feel as disjointed as that!

I hope Rince-wind forgives me for changing a couple of textures in the cells he made, and some monsters positions aswell.
Had to re-do all his action lines because im not used to doom 2 format, so maybe some traps are slightly different from the original.

I will be glad if anyone else has been also working on the map, will be really interesting to see a different version of the final drawing.

I want to congratulate you on your work, you put this together very well. Don't worry about the changes, in fact I think your choices and the small details you tinkered with make the map look and play even better than my original drafts. The only change I didn't like was in E5, the red pillars and bricks were meant to represent glowing red lights, like the colored sectors in Doom 64.

Hey Rince, thanks a lot. Just wanted to help, loved the concept from the 1st second. Sorry about E5, didnt get that detail.

Now that is done, you can tweak whatever you want, I wont update it if theres no issues/glitches.

I did some minor bug fixing and texture changing, nothing worth downloading again, I'm still waiting for the full midi. While we wait I ask everyone who contributed to play the latest updated version of the wad so you can tell me if you want anything to be changed while it still can be
