Most of my other favorite games are strategy and rpg games, because when it comes to action, Doom mostly keeps my plate full.

I am also primarily a strategy gamer (RTS, Grand Strategy, Turn-Based, the lot), though I also enjoy the occasional Souls-like. What strategy games do you enjoy?

On topic - Aside from the obvious (D2, D3, D2016, HL, HL2, Q, Q2 etc... ) I quite like the Wolfenstein games (RTCW, TNO, TOG). I've also got into Ion Fury recently - excellent old school shooter.

1) The developer says in the video that this new game has gameplay inspired by the one and only masterpiece Devil Daggers. I'm posting this to make this thread more varied, as this is something most of you probably see for the first time. That's exactly why i do not get list threads. They never generate actual discussion, its often a question that's already been asked prior, and they are popular enough to run a few pages.
