Which is the best port for and speedrunning

I thought i'd try my hand at speed running a few levels on doom 1 and 2 and just wanted to know which is best for speedrunning, so far i'd say Crispy Doom is best for that

I always got the notion that PrBoom+ is choice followed by Crispy

I love Crispy Doom personally, but most people run on PrBoom because it has a lot more features and plays smoothly at an uncapped framerate. I like my 35 fps tho.

Most people tend to favour PrBoom+ thanks to its compatibility options, widescreen and stuff, I'd say it's the best for almost everything but Eternity engine-compatible or ZDoom-compatible maps

I've used PrBoom+ whenever I take a jab at speedrunning, though I don't really have a specific reason for using it. It's just that it's the one most people tend to use so I've done the same.
