Doom comic strip

Hi! I'm new here on these forums. Now, onto the topic. I'm drawing up a Doom comic strip and decided to share it with the folks who know the most about Doom besides Id themselves. It deals with the misadventures of Pvt. Steve Fletcher, a hapless Space Marine on Phobos when the shit hits the fan and the demons come through. Ironically, he was the one that was supposed to ensure that nothing came through the teleporters, but was in the can when it happened. Anyhow, he ends up being the only survivor of the massacre, and plays the role of the Doomguy we all know and love, but with a comical twist. He will face all the milestones of the original Doom, such as E1M8 and the other boss fights, as well as some of your favorite puzzles. Currently I am drawing simple one-page features, but soon I want to make an entire comic book of sorts. I already have a comic waiting to be scanned, titled "potty break," where Steve finds a Cacodemon in a toilet stall, and hijinxs ensue! All I need is a title for the series. I'm kicking around the title "Doomed," but I don't know if it's taken or something. Questions and comments are appreciated and welcome!

Hmm, sounds interesting, but on the other hand, I dunno how well humour goes with the Doom storyline. If it was a separate story using Doom characters I would be a lot more optimistic. Oh well, we'll see, it sounds like a fresh idea and fresh ideas are always welcome.

On the other hand, if it's only a slight comical twist, like a bit of black humour, then it might pull off nicely.

As for the title: I have no idea yet.

It'll be kind of dark humor in parts, with sight gags, irony, slapstick, kind of like Green Pile, but with the Doomguy instead of two monsters. Take for example one idea I have where steve crawls up to a red card door, covered in blood with claw marks and burn marks all over him with a chainsaw in one hand and a red keycard in the other, opening the door only to find a yellow card door on the other side. Profanity ensues! Poor steve then turns around to find his other missing key. See? It sucks to be him! That's funny! After I take care of Doom, I'll move onto DoomII and maybe have him struggle through some levels of Alien Vendetta... I still have a lot of work to do. As far as a title is concerned, I'll use "Doomed" until someone says otherwise.
