nah, it's actually supposed to be elvish (Sindarin) but changed by centuries of usage by non-speakers. But I'll allow.

 

I always read the Taw as "the Awww" followed by a pair of Tulkas. (Tulkas being a semi-god in Tolkien's middlearth)
