EsmerInHell Posted December 15, 2020 (edited) I'm trying to change the title screen resolution in Gzdoom so that it fits my screen and doesn't have the black boxes on the sides, and I can make it work by forcing the aspect ratio to a certain value. This is a problem though because what I'm doing is widening the screen, which is good, but it also widens the gameplay as well, making everything look distorted in-game. Is there a way I can make it so that the title screen, and intermission screen, actually fit my screen without interfering with the gameplay? This is what it looks like. When I make the title screen stretch to fit my monitor, this is what happens. Edited December 15, 2020 by EsmerInHell 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Biz! Posted December 15, 2020 All I can say is that you can probably find a wad that changes the title screen resolution for all the built in games, and you can try messing with the settings to fix that stretched ingame problem 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted December 15, 2020 Update to GZDoom 4.5 and be sure to check the widescreen box on the startup widget. The one in the "Extra Graphics" section, below "Lights" and "Brightmaps". 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
