The term 'electronic music' is so vague, is there anything specific that's common in most electronic music that you couldn't appreciate or get into?

I don't get how people can not like electronic music, but do like music performed on guitars extremely amplified using an electronic amplifier. To the point of distortion. /j

 

Just take a rock/metal song you like, get an SC-55(if you're wealthy enough), and listen to a MIDI of it. There, you're appreciating electronic music.
