You could have just posted this in the previous thread instead of making a new one.

 

 

I think it looks better than the previous one, although the background image blur makes the UI rather disorienting to look at.

 

I wonder if something styled like The Ultimate DOOM's US cover would look better (dark background); I think this is similar to what Doomkid was suggesting:
